
Organic-agromaya dried mango cake recipe
Ingredients
- Dough: 100 g of flour, 100 g of sugar, 3 tablespoons of milk, 2 tablespoons of oil, 1 egg, 1 pinch of salt, 1 packet of baking powder, 1 sachet of organic dried mangoes to be rehydrated for Around 5 to 6 hours.
- Cream: 75 g of butter or margarine, 3 tablespoons of caster sugar (60 g), 1 sachet of vanilla sugar, 1 whole egg.
- Mix the flour, sugar, yeast, salt. Add the milk, egg and oil. Work with a whisk or mixer, then pour into a 22 or 24 cm heavily buttered and floured mold.
- Cover with mango slices, overlapping them, and bake for 30 minutes.
Preparation of the cream:
Melt the butter gently. Remove from the heat, add the vanilla sugar and the egg.
At the 30 minute mark, when the cake begins to rise and turn golden brown, sprinkle with the cream and finish cooking (about 10 to 15 minutes).
Remove from the oven, place a large lid on the mold, the steam escaping will loosen the cake.
