Eucalyptus Leaf 50g- Agromaya
A traditional remedy of the Aboriginal people, Eucalyptus was discovered by the first explorers of Australia in the 18th century and described by a French botanist, Jacques Labillardière. It was the German botanist Ferdinand Von Müller, director of the Melbourne Botanic Gardens in the 19th century, who made its medicinal properties known. It also allowed its acclimatization around the Mediterranean.
MAJOR ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
Essence rich in eucalyptol, monoterpene, limonene, gamma-terpinene, sesquiterpene, monoterpenols, tannins, flavonoids, resins.
MAIN PROPERTIES AND USES
Excellent anti-septic of the respiratory tract, antiviral, expectorant, bronchial antispasmodic and bronchodilator: rhinitis, otitis, bronchitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis, asthma.
Urinary tract antiseptic: cysts
Aperitif, stimulating, astringent, vermifuge, Hypoglycemic.
HOW TO USE
Infusion: 2 to 3g of leaves/150ml of boiling water at the rate of 2 cups/day
PRECAUTION OF USE
Plant in overdose: nausea, diarrhea, vomiting.
