Shea Butter 1kg - Agromaya
The kernels of shea fruits are used to make shea butter . In West African countries, shea butter is used for food, health and beauty, and for sacred rituals and ceremonies. This ingredient, often in a refined and deodorized version (which causes it to lose quality), is included in various percentages not always indicated on the labels in cosmetic products for its nourishing and restorative properties. It has a relatively high content of vitamin E and other antioxidant substances. It therefore has moisturizing properties because it contains a high content of unsaponifiables and Allantoins. It can be used to soothe eczema or psoriasis and is included in the composition of several pharmaceutical products. There are three procedures for obtaining shea butter: The traditional method, The mechanical pressure method and The solvent method.
Our Shea butter is obtained using the first 2 methods because they allow the shea butter to preserve all its active ingredients and in particular the unsaponifiable compounds. But the solvent method remains the most profitable because it allows all the fat to be extracted from the nuts.
Shea Butter has nourishing, smoothing and anti-inflammatory properties. It heals the skin in the treatment of eczema and shingles. It maintains the muscles before and after sporting activities and serves as a massage product in the event of a dislocation or sprain. It contains vitamins A, E and F.
Shea Butter is used in the composition of several culinary dishes. A true regenerating and revitalizing treatment, shea butter is also a remarkable anti-wrinkle agent. It fights against dry, fragile hair and stretch marks.
In cosmetics, shea butter is used for hair care, face care, lip care, skin care...it hydrates, nourishes, rejuvenates, makes the skin elastic.
